What we do

Kassel Equity Group invests in properties that are distressed due to deferred maintenance, suboptimal ownership situations, and/or mismanagement. We acquire these distressed properties through leveraged and non-leveraged financing provided by investors through a variety of investment vehicles. We then rehabilitate them by upgrading management, implementing necessary repairs and improvements, adding hospitality services, and other repositioning techniques.

Our firm-wide mission is to continue growing assets under management, always with an eye toward cash flow and building equity for our investors. Our practice relies upon rigorous asset evaluation and purchase methods, efficient development and management, and exit strategies appropriate to market conditions.

Our investors are the lifeblood of its business, and we take our fiduciary duties seriously. Thus, communications and transparency guide our firm's investor relations systems.

We focus on four core asset profiles:

Stabilized Assets with Strong Cashflow Fundamentals

Cosmetic (Non-Structural) Value Add Requiring Efficient Management Process

Distressed Multifamily and Commercial Assets

Development of Condominium and Multifamily Assets

Our mission is to provide a best-in-class focus on low-risk alternative investments throughout our core property types. Our practice relies on our ability to control the process though vertical integration and rigorous asset acquisition evaluation, purchasing methods, efficient development and management, and exit strategies appropriate to market conditions.
