Kassel Enterprises Acquires Gutridge Plumbing

Acquisition of Newark-Based Company Strengthens Kassel’s Mechanical Portfolio

COLUMBUS, Ohio, July 30, 2017 – Today, Kassel Enterprises, Inc., a Dublin, Ohio-based investment group, announced it has acquired Gutridge Plumbing, based in Newark, Ohio, for an undisclosed amount.

Gutridge is a 40-year-old provider of mechanical, electrical and plumbing services, serving both residential and commercial customers across the state of Ohio.

“The acquisition of Gutridge strengthens our position in the commercial and residential mechanical contracting space,” said Tom Werner, chief executive officer, Kassel Enterprises, Inc. “Gutridge’s infrastructure and brand recognition strengthen Kassel’s ability to focus and serve new and existing customers in central Ohio.”

Gutridge will continue to operate under its current name, with owners Wayde and Rod Gutridge agreeing to stay on with the company for five years. All employees will remain in its Newark headquarters, which was recently expanded to add 4,000 square feet of space.
